Buddhist Psychology offers an understanding of mental process that has developed over the past 2500 years. It offers the West an important new perspective on human interaction and mental process.
Tariki Trust offers training programmes based on a practical understanding of Buddhist teaching and its application in therapeutic, humanitarian and social settings. Of these, the Training Programme in Other-Centred Psychotherapy forms the core. Our learning community model offers a rich training environment for people at all levels. Join us for:

Other-Centred Approach is about mindful engagement with others, both in human relationships and in our contact with our surroundings. In addition to our main psychotherapy training, we offer the Ten Directions training in ecotherapy, which takes therapeutic work into the outdoors and combining it with creative arts and social concern.
Tariki Trust is a vibrant learning community, and the community based learning model is unique to our philosophy and approach. Our work goes beyond the consulting room and the classroom. At Tariki we are interested in bringing Buddhist analysis to bear on current global issues and in facilitating the practical application of Buddhist ideas in many spheres of life. We are involved in chaplaincy work, environmental action and community development. Besides offering a number of course programmes for professional and personal training, we offer study and learning possibilities for full time trainees and for volunteers interested in engaged work.
